My Life!

So right now I'm taking a summer class and it is about over. Human pathophysiology. My teacher is a goofball and makes class fun. Although I find myself barely able to keep my eyes open. Which I don't think is a good thing. The thing is though he basically keeps the lights off the whole time and when class is from 9-4 and for some reason my eyes start to feel heavy. Other than the class though I work a little bit at the college and then enjoy the rest of my day.
Jacob got called out to another fire near Tuscon. It is called the San Juan fire. I haven't talked to him since he got called out yesterday, and he said it was only about 200 acres and it has already grown to 1500 acres. So he'll probably be out for a little while.

Sedona

What a stud muffin!

We almost got rained on on our Jeep tour. We were kind of hoping we would have, but it cleared up as soon as we headed that way.

Beautifulness! (The pictures don't do it justice)
Jeep Tour
Jeep Tour

This was on our ATV ride!

So Jacob and I celebrated our one year anniversary in Sedona. We had so much fun and were in "aw" at the beauty. We went hiking, rented an atv, and went on a jeep tour. Plus the food was great. We mainly ate at Italian restaurants and we both decided that chicken parmigiana was delicious. When we went on our jeep tour the guide wwas telling us little things about the place and even said that there is believed to be a portal to other worlds out there. (Crazy I know) Then he even told us that he saw a UFO himself (Even crazier I know) He told us the whole story and I will have to say it is quite believable. We had so much fun that we want to go again....soon!

Has Been

So today I had a basketball game "old lady team" vs safford varsity team. Ummm..... I'm only 20 and I shouldn't have felt so much like a has been tonight. So I decided I just need to buck up and start running and get into running shape. I try to go lift every day, but its not enough, time to get those legs in gear. Now about the game. My team was down like 14 points at the half. Then when the game was over we were shy 2 points to tie the game. Great comeback, but not good enough!

Home

Jacob got last night at 5:00. It looks like he might not be home for very long either. We have thunderstorms in the weather forecast all weekend. Oh well (I guess).
One of my friends helped me tie my quilt yesterday. We had so much fun doing it. Now all I have to do is bind it and then I'm done. Easier said than done I'm guessing. It seems like that is usually how it works out.

Elk Horn Fire

So I'm like 99.9% sure that Jacob is on the Elkhorn fire. So that means Jacob is pretty much fighting the biggest fire in AZ, none theless that was started by a man. Go hunny! Good thing he is not all by himself. I'm guessing he'll probably be home next thursday, but what do I know.

Well Jacob is on his first big fire. He has been gone since Thursday and probably won't return for two weeks. I am anticipating the day he is able to come home. I like the money that is for sure, but I miss my hubby. As for me I'm just enjoying my summer, I'm working on a Levi quilt. In July I am taking a class and working part-time. We are living with Jacob's parents no longer. We are back in the house that we moved into when we first got married. I will have to say I am enjoying it. My parents are still in the process of building their house and hopefully get done in August. Then we get to move into the old house. I can't wait to decorate and add my little touch to things.

Teetering

Well its been a while. We are now living with Jacob's parents. I'm in my second semester of the nursing program and Jacob is still looking for a job. If anyone knows of any openings we would be glad to know!
Today I got to spend some time with Jacob before one of my tests. We went to the river and Jacob was looking at these ducks to cap and he is on this narrow road inbetween a canal and a drop off to some fields. All of a sudden we we were teetering on two wheels. It was exciting and scary at the same moment. His truck could have tipped. Luckily Grandpa was there to save the day and pulled back on 4 wheels in one piece.
I then went and took my skills test and I was very nervous. But they said I did good so thats all that matters.
